Terms and Conditions

It is the client's responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions set out below.

1) 24 hour notice must be given to cancel a lesson booking or the total lesson fee will be required. Deposits paid for tests (VORTs) or lessons are non-refundable.

2) Payment must be made in cash at the beginning of the session directly to the instructor, unless alternate arrangements have been pre organized.

3) We reserve the right to terminate a lesson if the behavior of the client warrants so (eg, reckless behavior, failure to comply with instructions or if the client is deemed unfit to operate a vehicle or suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol as reasonably determined by us. In this situation, the full fee for lesson and or test will be required.

4) It is the client's responsibility to hold a current Australian driving license or equivalent overseas license and carry it with them at all times during a lesson. Digital licensing is permissible. The full fee of the lesson will be due if these requirements are not met.

5) Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

6) If you leave any personal items or property in the instructors vehicle the onus is on you to organize collection. We accept no responsibility for such property.

7) Hibiscus Driver Training does not accept any responsibility for traffic infringement notices incurred whilst students are driving.

8) Hibiscus Driver Training for any genuine reason, reserve the right to refuse service.

9) We reserve the right to reschedule a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances. 

10) The training and services offered in accordance with any written invoices must be used within 6 months of the date written on the invoice. A 10% Admin Fee may apply to Invoices. Hibiscus Driver Training reserves the right to not provide the training offered outside of this 6 month training period and any amount paid by the provider for training will be forfeited to Hibiscus Driver Training.

11) Please note a dash cam may be recording footage of the road ahead and the car cabin for safety of instructor and client.

12) All insurance claim excess charges will be passed onto client if an accident occurs while client is operating vehicle.

13) License details may be collected to pass onto relevant authorities.
